What AI does Pro use, and does my content leave my site?: Pro's AI/semantic suggestions use Google Gemini with your own API key (Google's free tier is enough for most sites). When you use them, the relevant post text is sent to Google to generate suggestions — everything else still runs on your server. Prefer zero external calls? The free plugin's suggestions never leave your site.
